As far as I know, the only thing you can do in this circumstance is to get that in writing from them (and translate it with a certified translator) and then provide other proof of your occupation (pay stubs, a copy of your original contract, etc - again, all translated).

There could be any number of reasons: you don't qualify for the particular Alberta PNP for the draw, you didn't make your profile available to Alberta, or something else. I suggest you speak to an immigration consultant (RCIC) or a lawyer and have them look at your profile.

Well, when the program first started, it took a few months. But my understanding is that it can take many months now, which sort of defeats the purpose. You might be able to find more information here...

I don't know of any cases where applications were refused merely because of a date of birth discrepancy (that has a legitimate explanation, which was provided to IRCC). But I'm just the admin of this forum. I've never submitted any applications myself.

An explanation letter should be sufficient. If you are unsure, you can hire a consultant (RCIC) or a lawyer to help you with the wording of the letter.
