American visitors reaching 6 month limit - exit and re-enter at border?

They'll need passports. Unfortunately citizenship certificates are not "travel documents" and can only be used as proof of citizenship within Canada. So they need their certificates to get their passports and once they have their passports they can use them to apply for visas. (Of course they...

Why does OINP limit NOC with CRS between such small points range?

That's a fantastic question and I'm sorry to say I don't know the answer. Let me run it by our consultants and see what they say.

American visitors reaching 6 month limit - exit and re-enter at border?

Yeah, they cannot have visitor status as citizens. If they had been assigned visitor status at entry, it would have been a mistake. The lack of a visitor stamps is a good sign. Again, you do want to get those certificates as soon as possible, as you'll need them whenever you need to prove...

American visitors reaching 6 month limit - exit and re-enter at border?

Because you are born in Canada your children are also Canadian. They don't have visitor status. If they were given visitor status when they entered that was in error (likely because there was no proof of their citizenship at the time). They do not have to leave Canada. But you should find out...

Express Entry CRS score is 459. Will I get a Direct Entry?

Are you overseas or in Canada? Are you applying through FSW, FST or CEC? You can see the complete history of cut-offs here: https://www.immigroup.com/news/express-entrys-comprehensive-rating-system If you're going through FSW, the recent cut-offs have been just below your score lately but I...

Son of parents who both at one point were British Subjects. Is there a chance of a passport?

Okay, so the next question is: when did she leave Tanzania? If she moved to Kenya (or anywhere else) prior to December 9, 1961, there is some chance she didn't lose British citizenship (assuming she had it).

    Educational Credentials Assessment

You get 135 points (126 with a spouse) for a Master's degree but you get 128 points (119 with a spouse) for two degrees. So you want to say you have a Master's.

Well then if that's what it says, you should put your status when you first came here. I don't have the guide in front of me.

Visitor visa letter of invitation Canada

If he's paying for the trip you don't need to prove you can cover it. But I don't think there's harm in saying you can help pay for it if you need to. What country is he from?

Son of parents who both at one point were British Subjects. Is there a chance of a passport?

So you cannot inherit this status from your father unless you would have become stateless. And it's moot because it isn't citizenship, it's "subject" status, as you pointed out. He likely lost it when becoming a Canadian citizen. Your mother, on the other hand: we don't know. It depends what...

Work experience calculation for eligibility - need urgent help

That's a really good question and I'm sorry to say I don't know the answer. My guess would be you can say 6+ because they are the same skill level. But, if I was you, I'd want to verify that with someone, either with IRCC (by calling 1-888-242-2100 if you're able) or with a consultant or a lawyer.

When you "landed" probably, so when you became a permanent resident. (That is, if you're trying to get a VOS for your missing COPR.)

What I mean is, if you submitted the application electronically, you can login to your account and try to re-submit those forms. If you submitted a paper application, you can try sending them by mail with a letter of explanation. Otherwise you may need to withdraw your application and re-submit.

    Lack of Co-habitation proof

I was thinking if you could show your online bank statements, showing money coming from him and then going out for bills, that would be helpful. But you'd have to really spell it out (circle/highlight).

    Lack of Co-habitation proof

One idea would be to provide the list of e-transfers with your letter of explanation. If they date back to a year, that might be enough to at least show them there are some split bills (especially if you can show both the e-transfer and the bill you paid each time). But you might want to speak...
