Working after graduation?

Hello,

Can a student keep working part time after graduation if they have a valid study permit, were admitted to a new program of study at the same university at the same level (graduate) and are going to start it in say two, or three months? On IRCC's website they seem to say you can but I would like confirmation of this. Also, when was this rule introduced? (that you can work after graduation if you will start a new program of study within 150 days).

Just make sure I will be working enough hours after my graduation ( Post Grad Work-Permit). As far as I know, 40h is as for full-time, and 30 h-part-time. Is 30h considering as a full-time position nowadays? Sorry, I am new to all of it....

Usually 37.5 and higher is full time in Canada however, for immigration purposes through Canadian Experience Class, full time is a minimum 1,560 hours per year.

I am an international student living in Canada for 6 years. I have a study permit and my spouse has work permit. I intend to start up a franchise business even though my degree is not complete yet and my family has applied for permanent residency in Canada.

Could you please let me know if I can own a business in Canada as an international student? What do I need to do make this possible?

You can be "self-employed" according to this IRCC page. So, the answer would seem to be yes, as long as you are studying at a DLI and meet the conditions outlined on the page I've linked for you.
