Withdrawal of citizenship application (received the AOR waiting for the citizenship test)

I am sure I want to withdraw the citizenship application, I have updated the request (CIT027) and I am going to send it after I receive the email from IRCC to sit for the Citizenship exam.

I have already received the AOR (one month ago Nov 17th 2022), my question can the citizenship application be withdrawn at any stage, is it better to send the withdrawal request sooner than later? I am waiting for the exam and wanna send the withdrawal request after.
