Travel document?

Hi,i crossed the border on December 2021 i got my refugee claim accepted in September 2022 so i have notice of decision..can i apply for a refugee travel document? (The total time i have in canada is 11 months)

You can apply as long as you had your hearing and it was declared that you are a protected person.

Thank for your response, how much time it could takes to get it after applying?
Is it true that they are making refugee travel document just for emergency cases now?
If i ask for regular one i might not get it?

To get a Refugee Travel Document or Certificate of Identity, you must be in Canada.

You can apply for a regular or urgent (if you are travelling).

There is no message on the government's website that says you can only apply in emergencies.
