Othm Level 6 - Diploma in IT

Hellos,

I am an IT professional with close to 11 years working express. I have other high IT professional certifications which I know in this case, they don't really matter. I am about to complete my Diploma in IT - level 6 offered by Othm.
That will be my highest formal qualification completed. I have heard from others saying it will be evaluated to a 3 year degree. Am I eligible to gain points on the express entry same as the people who have 3 year degree from a university?

What you ultimately need is an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) which are assessments of your foreign educational credentials by a handful of officially approved agencies here in Canada. They will look at your degree/certificate and the institution that granted it and make that assessment. In general you need an ECA when applying for permanent residence in Canada.
