How To prove single status

Hi Everyone,

My son is 20 years old and he is Canadian, born in canada, He is in Turkey and he is applying for Turkish citizen, but he needs a single status,
My question is how he can get marital status (single status documetn) while he is in Turkey.

Your son needs to do the following:

1. Sign a single status declaration in Turkey: Here is an example: https://www.immigroup.com/doc/sample-single-status-declaration-for-canadians-abroad.docx
2. Make a copy of his Canadian passport
3. Have your son take a photo holding up the Canadian passport
4. Send to a Canadian notary and they will notarize it and send it back to your son in Turkey.

I recommend you pay a third-party company to help you facilitate this process. Try using International Documents Canada in Ottawa.
