Employment Letter needed for India OCI in 2023

The VFS site has a PDF (link below) that says an Employment Letter is one of the documents to be submitted as part of the OCI application.

Has anyone (who is employed) got their OCI in 2023 without submitting Employment Letter?
Is it really needed (if employed) or can it be skipped?

Boball, hi. This is, of course, a Canadian immigration site, and while the Overseas Citizens of India - OCI - card is a concern for many Indo-Canadians here, your question is directly related to OCI card rules for residents/citizens of the United States. Perhaps some members here have information, but we at Immigroup can't really comment on your issue. It does seem to be part of the requirements in the PDF you linked.
