Dependant visitor visa

My wife is in Canada on her study visa. I had applied for a work permit which was approved on Nov 2022. My 4 year old son's dependent visitor visa is still shows processing. We had planned to travel together on Dec 2022 but now its getting delayed. After raising couple of webforms and contacting IRCC canada office we are not getting a solution. Should we connect to an immigration lawyer or is there a another solution?

If someone is Canada call IRCC about the status, It is not helpful to find out the status of the application but sometimes they guide you on what to do.
