I was wondering if I have to print out the form imm1344e and sign it personally then scan it again to submit on the new online sponsorship program by the government or will an E-signature on the actual pdf form be enough despite not having any signature on the form itself? because an e-signature doesn't alter anything on the form itself but just "marks" it signed on the file itself

Check with an immigration consultant, but printing it out again, signing it, and then scanning it again is always a safe bet and will only take a few minutes of your time.
