Good afternoon,
My daughter was born outside of Canada and has a United States birth certificate & social. I have always maintained my Canadian Citizenship and have recently moved back to New Brunswick Canada with my Daughter. I am trying to apply for her Canadian Citizen Certificate, however I am stuck on the two forms of ID required for the application. Again, my daughter is just 18 months old, we only have her US birth certificate and US social as forms of ID. What should I do ? We cannot apply for her Medicare of anything without getting this proof of Canadian citizenship. Is there anything I can apply for in the meantime (visas?) that could help us obtain Medicare and proof of residency ?
