Best option to move to Canada as Entrepreneur?

Few questions:
Question: do you what to run your own business or just invest money?
Question: how do you make a living right now? I ask because it's best to look for something here in Canada that you are already doing.
Question (optional) a general figure up your total wealth (homes, cash, investments).

I understand many things will change going forward from both ends as 3 years is lot of time however I am open to all knowledge I receive during this phase.
My goal will be (a) To move my business to Canada or (b) Buy a franchise of existing business and run it.
I am currently a Business and Executive Coach. Recently I left my old company as a founder and ceo and currently going independent with new incorporation so if I immigrate in future, the control is in my hand.
By 2025 the overall net worth should be $300000 USD.

I am not familiar with all the immigration programs surrounding business and investment, but a few things come to mind:
$300,000 is not a lot BUT if you could convert $100,000 to cash, you could find a franchise and/or investment program
With $100,000 I know a few less popular provinces have some cheaper program - click here to start your research
What I would do is the following:
1. Do your research around all PNP (provincial nominee programs) programs.
2. Once you have found 1 or 2 programs that look like a good fit - Look for professionals that specialize in those programs. Try finding at least two.(also don't forget to call the immigration department and get as much info as possible).
3. Hire the two legal professionals for a one hour consultation. Keep working with one you like the best.
4. I think the best fit for you would be - Do your own application but pay a specialist to review your documents prior to filing.

Thanks for your suggestion and guidance. This is a good start. Do you suggest to go with lawyers or consultants?

It does not matter if you pick a lawyer or consultant. My only tip is make sure they do their own application and does not get farmed out to employees. Unfortunately the immigration industry is notorious of making a mess of peoples lives. Look for the winners!
