    PNP - Ontario

Well I certainly can't tell you where you should want to live, but the programs in less popular provinces are generally more open to people with less strong resumes. The thing is, a place like Manitoba (or any of the Maritime/Atlantic provinces) wants and needs immigrants much more than someone...

My PRC is waiting for renewal for 5 months, can I leave Canada and wait abroad?

So if your Card is approved while you're away, you can't use it unless you possess it. Having someone send it to you while you're overseas entails risk and is not recommended. a PRTD application will likely take longer than the standard 2-3 weeks because, presumably, they will be reviewing the...

    Countersignatory

I'm sorry to say that my understanding is that this person is inelligible unless you are perhaps talking about a 2nd or 3rd cousin or something like that.

    PNP - Ontario

Well Ontario has the highest standards because it is the most in-demand as a location.

    CRS Score 438

Well the Federal draws have been really high lately. It's possible this is seasonal, and they will go back down again closer to your score in the winter, but it's also possible this is the way it's going to be now. I haven't seen any data about whether or not the average score is rising or is...

    No approval after 6 months

Honestly there's nothing additional I can tell you except that I have heard a few people saying that IRCC is not meeting the 6 month processing time goal. You will know more when you get a response to your status request. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Entry/Exit initiative phase 3 now up and running?

Is it just me, or did the page update? https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/btb-pdf/ebsiip-asfipi-eng.html It seems the program has gone live.

Getting a PR under mixed conditions

You can't just apply for a PR Card, you have to immigrate. In order to do so, you have to work in a skilled occupation in Canada for at least one year (CEC). It's pretty much impossible to get a skilled job in Canada with just your OSSD, which means you have to go to college or university and...

Entry/Exit initiative phase 3 now up and running?

Well presumably those two documents are linked in their system, i.e. they know that you are the holder of both the PR Card and the US Passport.

Entry/Exit initiative phase 3 now up and running?

Oh and thanks for bringing this up. I had forgotten about it. We have a page on our website I need to update. Thanks again.

Entry/Exit initiative phase 3 now up and running?

This is what I can find: https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/btb-pdf/ebsiip-asfipi-eng.html Seems like it will be implemented later in the year. It's definitely a cause for concern for any permanent resident who is not keeping track of their trips so good for you for keeping track. As a citizen, my...

    Regarding uk passport

In that case they need your naturalization certificate, not your birth certificate.
  19. Riley Haas

    Regarding uk passport

Yes, you can apply from Canada. You can try applying with just the Canadian birth certificate and your UK birth certificate (you need that) but without the marriage certificate. I don't know if that will be enough but it should be according to the my understanding of the rules.
