Spouse on Work permit - EI benefits

Let me try to answer your questions: I thought had to be a PR but I cannot find a mention of that here: https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benefits/ei/ei-regular-benefit/eligibility.html Contact Service Canada to find out. IRCC would have no knowledge of this - well, they shouldn't have...

What are my chances of getting a study permit/visa?

Yes, I'd say a letter explaining what you were up to would be helpful.

Trying to find a job offer in Canada from Colombia

So specific skill sets would be rare skills (or willingness to do things Canadians don't want to...) but they are regionally specific. So, a hypothetical example (and not a very good one) would be a python programmer who needs to work on site (not remotely): there might be thousands of them in...

Trying to find a job offer in Canada from Colombia

Well, the problem with trying to work in Canada when you don't live here is that many employers are not looking to hire foreigners. Usually you have to have some specific skill set, or some connections, to find a job offer. Otherwise it is quite hard. Sorry for the bad news...

What are my chances of getting a study permit/visa?

I think you will need to ask a consultant (RCIC) or a lawyer about that. But my best guess is that you will need to make a very convincing case that you will leave Canada when your study permit expires.

It's a pretty bad time to be looking for a job in Canada, due to the pandemic. You should check out both private job boards and the national one (Job Bank).

    PR questions

I responded to your other post. If your American company has an office in Canada you can ask for a transfer. During this weird time, maybe you can convince them to work remotely from Canada. Otherwise you need to come back before next summer if you want to maintain your status, with or...

Cannot maintain RO due to Covid-19 travel ban

I think you might be putting the cart before the horse here. You need to come back (which you can do right now, because you have PR) and then find jobs. I know that's not ideal but IRCC isn't going to give you leeway on this unless you are working for the Canadian government (or a province)...

Closed Work permit is expiring in July. Employer not ready to extend

Unless your job is skilled and you've worked here for a year or more, then you could apply for PR.

Closed Work permit is expiring in July. Employer not ready to extend

You have two possible options to the best of my knowledge: Find another employer willing to apply for an LMIA for you (not an easy thing during the pandemic) See if you could change your status to student (you'd have to get accepted into a qualifying program and institution) or visitor.

    Sponsoring my CL partner

Which requirement are you talking about? The financial requirements for spousal/common law sponsorship are actually not public and assessed on a case-by-case basis. The parental sponsorship financial requirements can be used as a rough guide to how much money you should have, but it's not the...

Applying for TRV (in case of Spouse Accompanying International Student)

I'll try to answer: I legitimately have no idea what the answer is. Where have you heard they are hard to get? If you have no intention of working you can apply for a tourist visa and state, in your application, that you have no intention of working. But I'm not personally sure whether or not...

    Canadian tourist visa from IRELAND

Yes it could absolutely have a negative impact. But, due to the Five Eyes initiative, you have to assume Canada has seen some record of the overstay. (Provided, of course, the UK authorities know about it.) What you have to do is prove you will return to Ireland after your visit to Canada.
