    PRTD AND PR CARD RENEWAL

The OP said: So my answer was regarding that. You're in a different situation, veha. If you submit your PR Card application before you leave and then apply for a PRTD from abroad, there should be no issue with that given that you've met the residency obligation. (Unless I've missed something.)

How best to re-enter without PR Card or Travel Doc

Well they wouldn't "enter as a visitor". With a record of landing, they're entering as a permanent resident. It's up to the employer whether or not they let them work. They're supposed to, but I have heard stories of employers demanding valid PR Cards. Don't know how frequent that is.

So if you're anywhere near Toronto you're not going to get a low cost of living. The suburbs are cheaper than the city itself but something strange has happened in the pandemic: people working from home have decided that they don't need to live in Toronto any more. What that means is that house...

How best to re-enter without PR Card or Travel Doc

That is a good question and the answer is likely that they won't know until they try (in normal circumstances). Three possibilities: They are allowed to enter CBSA discovers they have not been residing in Canada and revoke their PR CBSA discovers they have not been residing in Canada, allows...

Error in my Previous work permit application

I can't swear to it but I believe that refers to Canada. But I could be wrong about that.

Error in my Previous work permit application

Exactly. Was there anything in your initial application in which you were required to mention your American immigration status/history that far back? Because, if there wasn't, I don't know that there's an issue.

    PRTD AND PR CARD RENEWAL

If you ask them directly if they can mail it to you I think they're likely to take that as an indication you're not in the country. Just wait to be informed about whether or not you have to pick it up. (I don't know if they're actually doing pickups right now, given the pandemic.) I'm not sure...

Error in my Previous work permit application

I'm not sure. I am just the webmaster and have never completed these forms - do they ask you to declare if you've ever been refused a visa to the US?

    PRTD AND PR CARD RENEWAL

Let me try to answer your questions: Does this mean that they have decided to renew my PR Card ? Yes, they have Since I am outside Canada, Should I apply for a PRTD now, before receiving the email that they have said that they will send or wait for that email ? Well, you shouldn't have applied...

    PR Status

Yes, that's correct. They can also renounce instead of applying for PRTDs to get the status revoked.

    Place to settle in Canada

A couple of things: If you can work from home entirely - you rarely if ever have to commute - then you can save a lot of money on real estate costs by living in a smaller, more remote place. Basically, the bigger the city, the higher the costs, for the most part. (Vancouver is more expensive...

Is it possible to fix an error in the application?

Well you can ask. If you call IRCC you are likely not going to get much of a response. I don't know if a Case Specific Enquiry will get you a better response or not. It should, I would think, but I honestly don't know.

Entering Canada with US B2 Visa

A US visa gives you literally zero status in Canada. How and if you're admitted to Canada depends upon multiple things: Your country of citizenship Your country of residence Where you attempt to enter Canada (i.e. the standards are higher if you're flying than if you are driving)

Is it possible to fix an error in the application?

Honestly I have no idea if this is a big deal. To the best of my knowledge, the question is trying to determine whether or not there is a likelihood that the relationship won't last. If your families arranged this marriage for you, without your participation, then I guess this could be construed...
