    Let me try to answer your questions: As far as I know, IRCC is skeptical of work experience in a family business because the occupation is not merit-based. You need to get a letter of employment confirming you were working when you don't have the pay stubs. Hope this helps.

    It's 2 years out of 5 years for PR; 3 years out of 5 for citizenship. Officially you have to fulfill the residency requirement to maintain status. However, in reality, you only have to fulfill it when you apply for your next PR Card.

    Let me try to answer your questions: I don't know why they would reject your degree. They might value the work experience differently, though. That I'm sorry to say I don't know. You could try providing an explanation letter about this if you're really worried about it.

    You should withdraw your application. You should have done it when you broke up. Canada has penalties for misrepresentation on immigration applications. This means that, if you are caught misrepresenting yourself here, you might not be able to get PR at a future date.
