    British Citizenship

As long as he was a British citizen (by birth or naturalization) before they were born, they are British. They will need his birth certificate or naturalization certificate, though, as well as their parents' marriage certificate and their birth certificates listing him as their father.

Online Education did inside/outside Canada Claiming CRS Points in Express Entry.

Honestly, I don't know how effective it would be. If few to no constituents (voters) sign it then I'm not sure anyone in power will care. You could try contacting the media but I'm not sure it's a big enough issue to get attention.

Why does OINP limit NOC with CRS between such small points range?

You can try contacting the OINP and asking. I have no idea if that will get you anywhere because I've never called them, but it could be worth a try.

    PR Renewal outside Canada

So things are complicated by the pandemic, as you point out. Under normal circumstances, it's not so much when your PR Card expires as whether or not you meet the residency requirement. If you easily the meet the residency requirement (2 years out of every 5 lived in Canada) then it doesn't...

My dad would not want to attend my wedding. Could this be a basis for rejection of PR application?

Not necessarily. If the rest of your family and her family will be attending the wedding (once it is safe to do so) it shouldn't matter. If you are concerned, you can include something in your sponsorship letter about how you are estranged.

    Common-law partnership of Backpackers

Well, I have some advice for you that you may not like: the simplest thing to do would be to get married. That would solve the problem of trying to prove that you've been living together.

We agree. Do you know any Canadian PRs or permanent residents well who'd be willing to advocate for you? One idea would be to contact them and ask them to complain to their MP(s).

    How to Prove Common Law

Do you have IDs that show you both living there? That would be the first step. And any mail addressed to both of you (or mail addressed to each of you). And yes, your father should submit an affidavit about this.

Son of parents who both at one point were British Subjects. Is there a chance of a passport?

So that sounds like she likely lost her British status. In most former British colonies anyone with British subject status who was a resident of the colony lost British status on independence day when they assumed citizenship of the new country. There are occasional exceptions to this but not...

Unable to obtain PCC for PR application

The first thing I'd do is try calling or emailing the consulate and explaining the situation. The second thing is to see if you can contact the police agency in India directly.

Yeah, it's a big deal. I suspect there should be instructions for officers made publicly available at some point (they are published online) but I haven't see them yet (doesn't mean they're not out there). This is where you want to look...

Why does OINP limit NOC with CRS between such small points range?

Alright, I have an answer for you. Our consultants believe there was nobody in the pool (who qualified) with points above 467 or 476 at the times of the draws. So that means two possibilities: Your NOC didn't actually fit the the NOCs being considered (which may not be likely given what you...

    Advice needed

If you drive to Canada you can attempt to enter with your old Record of Landing. This would work in normal times but I'm honestly not sure how it works with the border closed. The simplest solution is to renounce your PR status and apply through Express Entry for new PR status. Depending upon...

This https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/post-graduation-work-permit-program/permit.html was updated in August. Prior PR, upcoming relocation

In normal times you could fly to the US and try to enter Canada by car with your Record of Landing (if you have your own) however these are not normal times. The simplest thing is for you to renounce your status and apply through Express Entry.

American visitors reaching 6 month limit - exit and re-enter at border?

You just need certificates if, for any reason, they will need to prove their status in Canada. (School, etc.)
