Mailing instruction for example your Sponsorship Applications

Once you’ve checked and double-checked and even triple-checked that you have all the forms and supporting documents including letters and photographs (labelled and in chronological order as we explained) then it’s time to mail your application.

There are 4 different mailing addresses to choose from. Here’s how it works:

Nervous about your immigration application? Let Immigroup’s licensed professional consultants or lawyers review your paperwork. Call or email today and sleep soundly tonight.

Submitting Your Sponsorship Application by Mail

If you are submitting your sponsorship application by mail, you have to ask the question: is your application Inland (principal applicant living in Canada) or Outland (principal applicant living outside Canada)?

Immigroup strongly recommends using only registered mail to submit your sponsorship application. NEVER submit a sponsorship application by mail without a tracking number.

Submitting Your Outland Sponsorship Application by Mail

If your spouse, common-law partner, or conjugal partner is living outside Canada OR if they are in Canada but you have chosen to apply under Family Class then mail your application to:

CPC Sydney
P.O. Box 9500
Sydney, NS
B1P 0H5
Canada

Submitting Your Inland Sponsorship Application by Mail

If your spouse or common-law partner is living in Canada and you are applying under the Spouse or Common-law partner in Canada class (see Chapter 2) then mail you application to:

CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 5040, Station B
Mississauga, ON
L5A 3A4
Canada

Submitting Your Sponsorship Application by Courier – Recommended

Again, ask yourself whether you are applying under Family class or Spouse or common-law partner in Canada class.

Submitting Your Outland Sponsorship Application by Courier

If you are using a Courier Service instead of mailing the application and your spouse, common-law partner, or conjugal partner are living outside Canada OR even though they are living inside Canada you have chosen to apply under Family Class  then send use the following address:

CPC Sydney
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

Submitting Your Inland Sponsorship Application by Courier

If you are using a Courier Service instead of mailing the application and your spouse or common-law partner is living in Canada and you are applying under Spouse or Common-law partner in Canada class then use the following address:

CPC Mississauga
2 Robert Speck Parkway
Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

Review this step carefully. It might seem ridiculously straightforward, but it goes without saying that if you mail or courier your package to the wrong address, you will be facing significant delays.

Now let’s look at where to mail your Parental/Grandparent Sponsorship Application.

Mailing Instructions for your Parental Sponsorship Application

Please note that IRCC does NOT accept multiple applications in one envelope or package. Send each separate application in their own envelope/package.

Your envelope should include:

  • All fully completed and signed forms
  • All supporting documents – certified or notarized and translated if so required
  • Your printed receipts for payment of fees – DO NOT FORGET YOUR FEE RECEIPTS.

You must send the application by mail or courier.

  • It doesn’t matter if you live near the Case Processing Centre – DO NOT HAND DELIVER YOUR APPLICATION PACKAGE.

Send your application package – whether by mail or courier – to the following address:

CPC-PGP
PO Box 8020 STN T CSC
Ottawa ON
Canada
K1G 3H6

If you choose to send your application package by courier, make sure they send packages to PO Boxes without obtaining a signature. IRCC has agreements with various courier companies in Canada so please check that your courier service is one of these.

You may see an address different from the above one on your courier tracking slip. If so, check on the internet to see if the company that signed the tracking slip is one that has an agreement with IRCC to sort and scan application packages. As well you should:

Call your courier company to make sure they delivered the package to the above address. If not get a letter from them where they acknowledge their mistake and include the letter the letter with the application package the courier company has returned to you, and re-submit the application.
