International Marriage and Spousal Sponsorship is part of the Canadian
government’s marriage immigration program, which allows Canadian citizens and
legal permanent residents to sponsor spouse for permanent residence in Canada.
Let Immigroup Inc. take the risk out of your international marriage and spousal
sponsorship. We work hard for you to ensure your application is as complete as
possible.
About Spousal Sponsorship
When considering international marriage, Canada Citizenship and Immigration
classify a spouse as a marriage partner aged at least 16 years who has legally
married a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. The international marriage has
to be legally accepted by the civil powers in the country where the marriage
took place. Note that a foreign wedding ceremony does not signify an officially
authorized marriage if it has not been registered correctly with the civil
authorities in the country where the marriage took place. Under Canadian law,
only a valid Marriage Certificate can confirm that your international marriage
is legal in Canada.
Under the spousal sponsorship initiative, Canadian citizens and permanent
residents can also bring over their common-law partners, same sex partner,
conjugal partner and their foreign spouse’s dependent children. There is a high
degree of work associated with getting married abroad and then joining the
spousal sponsorship marriage immigration scheme. Successful marriage immigration
occurs only when the spousal sponsorship application forms have been completed
accurately and completely. We guarantee your application will be submitted
accurately and completely, and in accordance with Canadian immigration law. To
date, Immigroup Inc has not faced one application refusal in 5 years of doing
spousal sponsorship.

Delays to Applications
The reasons for delay in the process of an application to sponsor a foreign
spouse for residence in Canada are as follows:
The process of spousal sponsorship for permanent residence in Canada has two
different aspects:
-
The spousal sponsor submits a sponsorship to Citizenship & Immigration Canada
on behalf of his or her foreign spouse who lives abroad for residing in Canada.
- The foreign spouse residing abroad completes an application for permanent
residence in Canada.
The process can be delayed if:
- Incomplete information is submitted
- Incomplete documentation is submitted
- Insufficient or no proof of relationship is submitted to prove the
relationship is genuine
Immigroup Immigration Services helps you avoid unnecessary delays. We help you
through the entire process, from beginning to end, to obtain, complete, and
submit all the required forms and supporting documents for spousal sponsorship
for immigration to Canada.
