Legal Assistant

The following requirements are non-negotiable for this position:
  • Must have 3 years (36 months or more) of immigration experience
  • Clear criminal background check
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Perfect English grammar and spelling
  • Excellent communication skills 

Hiring Process

Immigroup will contact the most qualified candidates within approximately 1-3 weeks of the position being posted.

Your interview will be with a member of the Immigroup recruiting team. The first phase of the hiring process consists of a one hour assessment to determine the candidate’s individual suitability for the position. After the results are reviewed Immigroup will contact you to advise you of the outcome of your assessment. If you are the most qualified candidate for the role, you will move to the next stage of the hiring process.

The second phase of the hiring process consists of an interview with an Immigroup representative. If you are selected as the most qualified candidate, we will advise you verbally and send you a written offer. You will also receive forms for background checks. You will be required to complete and return these forms confirming your acceptance of the offer within 5 business days.


Training Process

At Immigroup the probationary period lasts for four weeks. The purpose of this probationary period is to give Immigroup an opportunity to analyze your skill set and individual fit for the position and organization, as well as to give you the chance to evaluate Immigroup as an employer. During this time you will receive remuneration at 60% of the amount you will be paid after the probationary period ends. At the end of this period you will be paid the full amount.

Co-op Student

The following requirements are non-negotiable for this position:
  • You must be taking a course related to the immigration and/or legal field
  • Your co-op program must be long term (more than 100 hours with our firm)
  • Clear criminal background check

  • Excellent communication skills

Researcher/Writer

Immigroup has a Research and Development department whose purpose is to determine new services to offer to our clients. We do this by researching, testing, and finally implementing the new services.

  • 5 years of experiencers of experience
  • In the last ten years you must have worked at least 4 years for one company
  • Perfect English grammar and spelling
  • Excellent research skills

Corporate Salesperson

The following requirements are non-negotiable for this position:
  • 5 years of experiencers of experience
  • In the last seven years you must have worked at least 4 years for one company
  • Have contacts in the travel industry and corporate contacts who are willing to use Immigroup’s services

Hiring Process

Immigroup will contact the most qualified candidates within approximately 1-3 weeks of the position being posted.

You will interview with our firm’s manager and owner discussing your contacts and industry experience. Remuneration is related to your experience ($38,000 - $50,000)

IT specialist – Contract work or fulltime

Immigroup has a network of six immigration related websites which receives over 100,000 unique visitors per month. Our goal is to continuously increase the traffic.

  • 7 years of experience in a related field a related field
